The world is changing rapidly, and customers are more and more demanding. At the same time volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity are the new normal. Our supply chains need to adapt to survive. The race is on … organisations across industries are already making big investments to develop their digital supply chains.
According to a recent PwC study on the rise of Industry 4.0, a third of the more than 2,000 respondents said their companies have started to digitise their supply chains, and fully 72 percent expect to have done so five years from now. The benefits are clear. Digitisation brings significant economic benefits to both top and bottom lines: Companies with highly digitised supply chains and operations can expect efficiency gains of 4.1 percent annually, while boosting revenue by 2.9 percent a year.
If your organisation is to make a digital supply chain or ecosystem a reality, it’s not enough to simply choose technologies and build capabilities. You need to get people with the right skills on board and manage a culture shift to implement out the transformation.
This interactive course will help you understand the challenges and the opportunities of the new digital landscape. You will also be able to understand the next steps you need to take to step into the digital world. The course will show you how digitisation will make your supply chain more efficient, agile and customerfocused.
