The Senior or Professional in Human Resources – International™ (PHRi/SPHRi™) exam preparation course is a 5-day course developed to prepare you for the PHRi™/SPHRi™ examination designated by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). The course offers practice tests, case studies, and the body of knowledge needed to be successful on the examinations.
The PHRi™/SPHRi™is a global, competency-based credential for internationally based HR leaders. It validates senior-level HR competency and mastery of generally accepted HR principles in strategy, policy development and service delivery in an international setting. Independent of geographic region, this credential complements local HR practices.
Through demonstrated knowledge, this credential enhances the credibility of HR professionals and the organisations they serve. This certification is only available to candidates who practice outside the United States.

Tom Raftery – HRBP, SPHRi | Director, its all about people
Tom Raftery works at board level and his areas of expertise are HR strategy and systems, organisation design, reward, change management, leadership development and executive coaching with the emphasis on improving both business and personal performance.
He presently has his own consulting business, which he originally set up in Dubai. Prior to that he was VP HR for the International Division of Arc International based in Dubai, and has worked for such companies at British Aerospace, British Gas and Sedgwick Forbes, as well as consulting companies including Arthur Andersen and Towers Watson.
Tom runs a number of HR related public and in-house training programmes for Informa and he is member of, and certified trainer for, the CIPD and SHRM Tom has a degree Industrial Sociology from Coventry University and an MBA from Warwick University.
Tom Raftery has over 40 years’ experience in senior HR line and consulting roles, working across a wide range of industries and countries, including over 20 years working and living in the Middle East.
