The role of the trainer has evolved to include building consultative partnerships, demonstrating facilitation skills dependent on learner dynamics, and reporting on business metrics to validate the effectiveness of the learning solution.
Aligned to the Talent Development Capability Model, this renowned program covers the entire process of training delivery including purpose and assessment, decision making, planning and preparation, presentation and facilitation, performance and evaluation, and business metrics and reporting.
You’ll be a part of an online cohort and work with your facilitator to lift the conversation about training delivery to the master level, showcasing your ability to adapt to learner needs. Bahaa Hussein, CPLP
Bahaa Hussein, CPLP, is an international facilitator of the ATD Master Trainer™, Master Performance Consultant™, and the Designing Learning Certificate Programs. He is currently managing partner at SIMDUSTRY® (a Germany based Business Simulation Solutions Company), and WONDERLEARN® (an Egypt Game Based Learning Solutions Company). He is a co-author of the ATD published book “Destination Facilitation”, which is considered the travel guide to training around the world, describing the importance of global mindset, when training in different cultures across the globe.
He has been training more than 45 nationalities across Europe & CEEMEA regions for more than 30 years, positively impacting people’s performance to reach their maximum potential in areas of Sales & Sales Management as well as Technical L&D functions. Bahaa’s sessions are known to be interactive, and depend to a great extent on experiential deep impact learning, and maximum participant engagement, leading to immediate and effective application. Graduating from the American University in Cairo with a Bachelor in Business Administration and a minor in Political Science, Bahaa Hussein began his career back in 1986 with Procter & Gamble Egypt (P&G), as a van salesman; starting from grass root level, he managed to work his way up to become one of the key managers for P&G in the Arabian Peninsula, heading the sales operation in Saudi Arabia.
In 2003 he moved to Abudawood group (P&G Partner and Distributor), and contributed into making their vision of doubling the business happen. As Business Development Head, He created a food division (launching major brands like Ferrero and Pringles) , as well as headed their operations as General Manager in different Middle East markets. In 2008, discovering that his real interest is to genuinely and positively impact people’s lives through improved human performance; Bahaa shifted his career to be fully focused on Learning & Development, which became his real passion. In 2010 he successfully earned ATD’s Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), to become one of the 1,300 certified learning & development professionals worldwide, and the first in the Middle East.
Bahaa’s latest role was the Director of Corporate Learning & Development at Abudawood Group, managing the L&D function, and responsible for designing, developing and delivering all training programs across six markets in MEA and AP&P (Arabian Peninsula & Pakistan).
He has recently been one of 13 members constituting the task force that formulated & developed the newly updated ATD capability model launched in January 2020. Now, as a talent development expert, a master trainer, and an L&D consultant, Bahaa continues with the same passion he had when he first started his career, by delivering impactful solutions that create future leaders & professional peak performers.
