Enterprise Architecture (EA) is the foundation for business support, development, and change (through the management of the business, information, applications, and technology architectures); with its overall objective to achieve business efficiency and agility.
Through the cumulative experience of the Course Director and course attendees, we bring a fresh perspective to the ideas of architecture and specifically Enterprise Architecture.
The programme doesn’t try to reinvent the idea of business architecture or introduce new notations, but instead it takes tried and tested methods, techniques, tools and the wealth of experience from practitioners from many fields and presents this myriad of information in an informative and practical way. In addition, it attempts to show how an Enterprise Architecture practice can be woven into the very fabric of an organisation and that it should not be executed in isolation to other parts of the organisation.

Selvyn has worked in the IT industry for over 30 years. He has owned and run an IT consultancy and training firm for the last 23 years, with numerous clients and partners located around the world (in the health, telecoms, transportation, banking, and defence industries).
As well as training and consulting, Selvyn specialises in the development of IT systems from start to finish, working as an Architect (Enterprise, Technical, Software, and Systems) and Software Designer and Developer for clients. His specialties include:
Selvyn has a great ability to articulate complex conceptual ideas; to group sizes ranging from three to over a thousand. He is also a strong advocate for IT systems that have a solid architecture, are well-designed, and continually tested during their development.
Additionally, Selvyn has been the Technology Lead for both Deutsche Bank’s and Barclays’s graduate training programmes for the past three and two years respectively.
Upon completion of this training course, participants will earn a digital badge.
Earners of the Enterprise Architecture in Practice badge are able to implement strategies for developing a governance framework and strategically plan for change.
