Overview

This course is designed to go through the key elements of best practice in Public Relations. It examines both how to prepare for and how to carry out a Public Relations campaign. Established methods are illustrated as well as how to generate creative ideas, all brought to life by real examples taken from actual experience.

The aim of the course is not only to teach delegates how to use PR to its full extent, but also how to measure their success and report back to top management with this evidence.     Management Trainer and PR Consultant

    James Rothnie created the Public Relations department at easyJet. He joined the airline when it had only three leased aircraft and it is now Europe's leading airline with over 200 aircraft, carrying in excess of 60 million passengers a year.

    He was also one of the founding directors of the easyGroup, the brand owner and shareholder behind all the other 'easy' ventures. Having established a powerful brand at easyJet, the easyGroup was responsible for stretching the 'easy' brand across numerous and diverse businesses and industries, from aviation to car hire and hotels, and as far as serviced offices and pizza delivery, covering both services and goods.

    James started his Public Relations career at Disneyland Paris when it was a start-up theme park belonging to The Walt Disney Company, a global business. This exposure to international marketing allowed him to develop his career working with businesses wishing to grow both, their domestic and crossborder presence.

    James now works as a Public Relations and Communications Consultant, helping businesses and PR agencies develop their strategies and tactics in order to maximise their own brand and commercial potential.
